UKRAINE: current situation, international implications and perspectives of cooperation
Workshop for young disseminators and activists from Germany, Poland and Ukraine Berlin, 6 to 10 October 2014
What has actually been happening in Ukraine since the former president Yanukowitsch rejected signing the Association Agreement with the European Union? What has been left from Euromaidan? How did the crisis in the East influence German, Polish and Ukrainian politics, the prospects of European integration and international cooperation, also with Russia? How can civil society and civic intiatives in Germany, Poland and Ukraine contribute to fighting stereotypes, prejudices and hostile images of other nations?
These are only a few of the questions that we want to discuss with 15 active young Europeans from Germany, Poland and Ukraine from 6 to 10 October 2014.
We want to bring together young people with different national and professional backgrounds, get to know their points of view and engage them in an interactive exchange of knowledge, opinions and a constructive discussion about German-Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.
Please find enclosed a preliminary programme as well as a registration form.
Thanks to the Federal Agency for Civic Education (tbc) we are able to cover most of the costs of your stay in Berlin (four nights in a double room, including subsistence, transportation costs within the programme and travel costs to and from Berlin according to the Federal German law on travel costs).
